Grants & Awards

**Recipient of 15 Procter & Gamble Touring Grants from the Cincinnati Playhouse ('93-'08), to create/perform a new program each year of multi-cultural stories: "Folktales For The 21st Century."

**Featured performer for Stories From The Heartland, the Minnesota Storytelling Festival, 1997.

**Featured performer (14 years) for the Rosenthal Next Generation Series at the Cincinnati Playhouse.

**"Brave Little Red & other Tales", "Jaws, Paws & Claws - Animal Wisdom Tales From Around the World" and "The Tricky Caterpillar & other Tales" have won Parents' Choice Silver Honors, Recommended Seal, NAPPA Gold and Storytelling World Awards.

Education & Acting Experience

**M.F.A. Major in Acting, Rutgers University, NJ, Studied with Ed Stern, Bill Esper, Hal Scott.

**B.A. Major in Child Psychology and Theatre Arts, Macalester College, MN.

**Conducted Master Storytelling Classes for Northwestern University, and the Storytelling Center, (NYC).

**Lead Actor/Educator, C.L.I.M.B. Theatre, MN, conducting 2-12 week residencies/performances in the Midwest.

**Storyteller/Artist in Residence in more than 100 Elementary Schools in NY State/Young Audiences of NY.

**As an actor I have appeared in plays directed by Ed Stern, Michael Greif, Lee Breuer, Richard Caliban, Steven Dietz, Mac Wellman, Hal Scott, Bill Esper, Oskar Eustis, Jack Bettenbender.
